Reverend Adrian Neiconi
Doctor of Theology
Born in Timișoara, Rev. Neiconi has served as professor, vice-rector, and pastor in Romania, and now leads the Romanian Christian Baptist Church in Chicago. With a PhD in Theology from the University of Bucharest, he has taught at both the Baptist Theological Institute and Moody Bible Institute. Author of The Word That Transformed the World, he continues to equip leaders for ministry at home and abroad.
Dr. Daniel Marius Mariș
President of the Bucharest Baptist Theological Seminary
President of the Bucharest Baptist Theological Seminary since 2012, Dr. Mariș previously served as Academic Dean of the Baptist Faculty at the University of Bucharest and is an associate professor of Old Testament. He holds degrees from Oxford (M.Th.) and the University of Bucharest (Ph.D.) and has pastored Golgotha Baptist Church in Bucharest since 1993. A longtime leader in the Romanian Baptist Union and Association, he continues to serve as Vice President of the Bucharest Baptist Association.
Dr. Otniel Ioan Bunaciu
Professor of Theology
Professor of Theology at the University of Bucharest and former President of the Baptist Union of Romania and the European Baptist Federation. He has taught internationally, serves on Romania’s National Council for Titles, Diplomas and Certificates, and currently leads the Theology and Education department of the EBF. Founder of Fundatia Providenta, he continues to direct programs for disadvantaged children in Bucharest, including a school serving over 200 students.
Judith Powell
Community Outreach Manager
Judith Powell brings decades of leadership in faith-based and civic organizations, including service as chair of the Texas State Board of Examiners for Professional Counselors and president of the American Association of State Counseling Boards. She currently serves on the boards of The Bible Seminary and Wynwood Presbyterian Church’s Counseling Center. A published author and senior training specialist with Montgomery County Elections, she has participated in over 20 mission trips and continues to lead in discipleship, writing, and education.
Susan Myers
Partnerships Liaison
Susan Myers, a native of Kansas City, has dedicated her life to teaching, mentoring, and missions. With degrees in Music and Education, she has taught in schools while serving in youth and women’s ministries. She has led and participated in mission trips across Africa, the Middle East, and Romania, and helped launch The Gathering, a fellowship movement that now draws over 1,000 women monthly. Alongside her husband, Sam, she serves on the Missions Committee of Abundant Life Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. They are blessed with six children and seven grandchildren.
